Forget Me Not
Publishing due Oct '20
We experience many little deaths in our lifetimes.
Perhaps none so heart-wrenching though, as seeing the mind of the person you love fade away right before your eyes. To lose that connection and not be recognised, and indeed to no longer recognise the person you knew and loved is anathema[1]. The body is still here but the person you knew is gone. As a Registered Nurse who ran a rest home for 6 years, I know this pain and this book will help those moving through this experience for they will recognize themselves in this poignant story of love found and lost, unrelenting stressors and the frailty of our relationships.

[1] Anathema, in the form of something like a curse nothing negative however with lack of believe in God or higher Power, Barry never allowed his belief to have any influence over him and so never believed there was a God. So, to look upon his demise and see he longer recognised myself or daughter it was a hard loss of connection to witness.
The heartache and grief for all concerned is profound. Tears fell down my cheeks when Janice shared the following …
“I had already conditioned myself to fall out of love with Barry as a way to make it easier for me to cope”.

Let Me Get This Off My Chest
Testimony: Let Me Get This Off My Chest - Coping With Breast Cancer Alone
Janice it is rare for me to read a book cover to cover! I immediately felt the honesty in your words. Your book is very relatable to its reader because of the embedded lessons of fortitude. Facing fear alone, honesty in the situation you you were facing. I felt the integrity in your story this clearly isn’t just a blah blah story! Facing cancer alone twice! is really about victory over a heartbreaking situation.
Congratulations Janice Muir you have created a very valuable gift for any reader - Cheryl Spicer
The truth of the matter is will I ever get over Breast Cancer.
I once had someone say to me 'get over it'.
Really!!
You obviously do not know what you do not know and can’t know what happens to the body when you go through Breast Cancer or any cancer for that matter.
This journey is to share some highs and lows of what it is like to cope with the onset of Breast Cancer; the process I physically went through to manage and cope with this journey.
Being alone is not an easy road when your life hits a huge hurdle and you are faced with mortality if you do not do something. I was not ready to die yet. I still had a lot of living to do.
This story is now going into the 15th year at the time of printing and I have never been healthier or faced any elements of cancer again.
Mindset and strong will have reflection over this journey. It was a tough road and one that made me stronger and now I say thank you for having Breast Cancer to be able to share the journey with you.

A Vision To Win
This book comes together because my vision to win as a young person was lost. I had the drive to run I either of the Montreal or Munich Olympic games.
A conversation around Christmas time with relatives considering aspirations in life; the questions were asked. I answered with confidence and quiet assured in myself I wanted to run in the Olympic Games.
A moments silence and a moment of innocence.. I had a dream; and strong voice from the back of the gathering said... "What makes you think you are good enough" and I never ran again!
